"Cutting-edge technology and the expertise of our employees on the fiercely contested outsourcing market has enabled HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt to acquire another key account," says Paul Hagen, personally liable partner of HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt. The portfolio of fimatex by boursorama, the German branch of one of Europe's leading online brokers, predominantly comprises actively trading customers. The number of orders executed in 2003 exceeded 800,000 transactions, according to the company's figures. Fimatex S.A. was founded in Paris in 1995 as a subsidiary of Société Générale S.A. and has been listed on the Noveau Marché in Paris since 2000. HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt uses GEOS, developed by Austrian software company SDS, to handle securities processing. SDS became a wholly-owned subsidiary of T-Systems International this year. As a result, its customers are benefiting from a drop in transaction prices of up to 40 percent. HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt uses GEOS, a cutting-edge securities processing software solution. Jens Hagemann, member of the management board of DAB Bank, applauds the system's outstanding price-performance ratio, particularly when handling orders of up to EUR 1,500. His aim is to acquire 10,000 new customers by the end of the year, at the same time increasing the number of transactions by 2 percent. DAB Bank has been able to buck the current market trend, according to Hagemann, with balance-sheet figures for the third quarter already showing an upward trend.
