"We are proud to have BCEE as our customer as we take this opportunity to establish a strong presence on such an important European financial market as Luxembourg," says Dr. Helmut Saueregger, Managing Director of SDS. Primarily, the software has to be able to generate, receive and process a set of SWIFT messages and be connected to the worldwide SWIFT network. To be awarded the Securities Settlement Label, the software must be able to handle certain tasks such as sending and receiving SWIFT messages for delivery instructions, status messages, delivery executions, securities account and transaction statements and all functions relevant for the communication between the bank, the custodian and the custodian bank. The banking software GEOS is SWIFT-compliant, meets international ISO standards and offers real Straight Through Processing - all factors that require the highest standards of quality. As a SWIFT partner, Software Daten Service is delighted to have received the award again this year, given that very few software applications from among the 8,000 banks and financial institutions worldwide connected to SWIFTNet actually attain SWIFTReady Label status. "It goes without saying that customer satisfaction is the top priority for Software Daten Service and the quality of our product GEOS must meet the highest standards. We are investing a lot of time and money in the development of a highly efficient securities software which is reflected by the SWIFTReady Label. The results of our efforts are also apparent in the functional scope and the international orientation of GEOS", says Dr. Helmut Saueregger, Managing Director of Software Daten Service. "As we know that we are under permanent scrutiny and because we place the same strict demands on ourselves, we strive to keep up our commitment to quality. This quality awareness, fulfilling international standards and SWIFT messaging will therefore remain key aspects of our software development."
