Flexible parameterization within a single system

GEOS Control Services is the cornerstone of the cross-enterprise and cross-border definition of independent client institutions. By defining parameters, processing can be carried out across multiple organisational levels and legislative territories within a single system.

Depending on the GEOS subsystem, a number of different settings can be defined for each client institution; general settings such as specific public holidays, or GEOS subsystem-specific settings such as securities account parameters.

All parameters can be configured using dialogs; GEOS allows parameters to be applied via interface during initial definition.

Customisable user rights and profiles

GEOS Control Services is also used to administer user rights for the entire GEOS system.

Each rights and user class or group and subclass can be freely defined. Different rights can be applied to each individual transaction, from simple warnings to supervisor verification and user blocks. The allocation of rights is data-dependent, e.g. different rights can be defined for each securities account type.

External systems can also be integrated, allowing the existing authorisation system to be extended.

Comprehensive transaction tracking

As with all SDS systems, all user transactions are logged in GEOS Control Services as well. This function allows all changes in the system to be tracked and allows the user interface to be used for simple tracking purposes.
