Central management of financial instruments data

GEOS Financial Instruments (GEOS FI) is the central database which feeds the operative systems of GEOS with comprehensive, up-to-the-minute information about financial instruments, corporate actions, markets and prices.

GEOS FI supports the management of securities, derivatives, commodities, foreign currencies, indices and interest rates.

GEOS FI can be deployed as a component of GEOS or as an independent system.

Automated master data feed via interface

Data can be imported into GEOS FI via several interfaces. Master data, event data, tax and reporting data is converted into a separate data format independent of specific data feeds, subjected to quality control and saved.

GEOS FI has special interfaces to the following data feeds:
  • WM Wertpapier-Mitteilungen Datenservice
  • VDFTM Valordata Feeds (Telekurs Financial)
  • DBS (Deutsche Börse Systems AG)
  • ÖKB (Österreichische Kontrollbank)

GEOS FI and STP

To ensure that the data required for STP is of sufficient quality, GEOS FI uses appropriate maintenance and approval modules to check the quality of the financial data which is delivered.
